UK climber Hazel Findlay is at the top of her game on difficult trad sport routes. Crampons and ice axes, on the other hand, are a whole new thing. Nevertheless, it didn’t take long after hitting Chamonix for her to head into the mountains on a three-day adventure with EpicTV Sport Climbing Editor Jack Geldard and come home with a cruisey new route under her belt.

On her way back to town she stopped into the EpicTV studio to give us the beta.

Hazel has been on fire over the past year with hard sends in the UK and a trip to Yosemite’s El Capitan where she freed the route Golden Gate. Want to know more of what this girl’s all about? We’ve got more Hazel Findlay coming your way so stay tuned for a full interview on EpicTV Women’s Weekly in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned!
