The quest for epic singletrack can only take you so far. But how far is that exactly? Argentina? Utah? China? Nepal? We’ve been keeping an epically beady eye on the progress of legendary purveyors of fine bike riding Zink, Lacondeguy, Bearclaw, Sorge and Doerfling over the last year or so in the soon-to-be-released MTB movie Where The Trail Ends. And what’s getting us more pumped than a night of reverse cowgirl action is that the movie’s latest teaser just hit the digital newsstand.
And tease is what it does. Freeride Entertainment know how to make bike movies and has been pumping us up with their New World Disorder series for years now, but this one’s taking it a little further… Right off the end of the trail by the looks of both the 2011 Gobi Desert and this most recent teaser. It’s what you can expect from riders like Berrecloth and Zink when prodded by the kind of endorphin-laden needles wielded by the honchos at Red Bull: wild, remote locations mixed with premium riding. There’s even a goat in there too. Think: the mind blowing riding of the Utah-set Red Bull Rampage about as far away from the safety net of hospitals, bike mechanics and burger joints as you can get on the planet.
This movie promises to set new standards in freeride mountain biking, starting Where The Trail Ends. Go to wherethetrailends.com and watch it there too, and when viewer clicks reach 1 million they’ll release the official full-length trailer which should just keep us going until the complete movie lands at EpicTV.com in September.
