When we learnt that a new face had appeared amongst the world class athletes of Patagonia and Jones Snowboard, we decided to investigate to find out who exactly was this American blonde everybody suddenly had their eyes on, and we weren’t disappointed.
Liz Daley, age 26, snowboarder, climber, trail runner, alpinist, and currently training to be a mountain guide in the US of A. Born and bred in Washington State, Liz grew up descending the likes of Mt. Baker, Mt. Adams, Mt. Shasta and Mt. Rainer on her snowboard. She then decided to give Europe a go and kicked it off in Chamonix Mont Blanc, where she took on the Fynn-Biselx couloir, one of her many European achievements.
The girl is slowly but surely starting to make a name for herself in the most natural and organic way possible, out of her love for the mountains and snowboarding. This attitude has led her to gain the support of some major names in the industry without ever entering a single comp or selling her soul to the devil.
Definitely one to watch.
